What a week.....

I'm not sure how to even begin to put into words what an incredible gift this week was. Getting to be there when Craig and Caylene met their kids for the first time would've been worth the trip alone!!!!! But add getting to spend the week with MY kids TOO!!! I almost can't process it all!!!

I cant show pics of the kids faces until we pass court, until then here's a few of my favorites from the week!

Meeting the kids for the first time....

Our first night together...

Playing baseball in the courtyard.....that was funny! I don't think Bona had ever seen a bat before!

Bona taking pictures....not bad for a 6 year old!

Playing hide n seek in the curtains

Playing with mommys purse.

SWIMMING at the Sheraton....VERY fun!

Her bottoms were too big and kept sagging off!

Learning to use scissors the first time! At dinner he was trying to use his fork and knife like a scissors too....very creative kid!

They LOVED blowing bubbles off the balcony.

Watching toy story 3 on my iPad....for the 12th time!

Snuggle time with mommy!

Playing jump rope with Maddie

Putting Buzenas blanket on her bed at the orphanage.

Saying "I'll see you soon" (not good bye) to Bona.

Not quite as easy with Buzena.....once she started crying I officially lost it....it didn't help that every time I looked at Kelli she was crying as hard as I was.....but thanks for not letting me cry alone Kel!!!!

I've already posted my favorite picture of the whole trip.....but I'll include it here too. I love it because of all of the emotion it shows....even though it makes me cry to look at it.....they're tears of hope, of longing, of expectation for all that is to come! God has once again set the lonely in families...He's provided them with hope and a future....he has allowed all things to work together for good!!!!!

OH JILL! I am balling (again) as I read the updates.... I am so blessed by your heart and spirit! I love that even though you can't show their faces, there are soooo many beautiful action pictures that help us get to know them- all of the shots that just barely miss their faces- the baseball bat one, the behind the curtain, etc... LOVE THEM ALL! May God bless you and keep you! JEREMIAH 29:11 HIS PLAN FOR THEM! LOVE YOU SEE U ON THE 16TH!

Precious Jill!! Thanks for posting pics- loved them! Can't wait til you're all together as a family. Did you get to see the infamous double shoulder shrug when the kids didn't get their way?? Ha ha

Hi Jill. My name is Stacey and I work with your friend, Bill Dinkleman. My husband and I just adopted from Ethiopia as well so that's what brought your name up. I viewed your blog and website. So awesome. It's too bad you live way out in Washington! :) Good luck with everything with the two new kiddos. Here is our blog if you'd like to check it out: www.ksillsfamily.blogspot.com. Love all the pics - made me cry!
